I Met A Street Physics

Alien, self-hypnotic self-image imagined,
Space travel
Manifest in latent dreams
Freudian schemes to dull the masses
Boys skipping classes
Searching for those asses
To pay for gas 'cus

Women take over
As one in one-hundred
Overcome the boulders
Of young martial artists
Trying to make sense of this

Daily reincarnation called life
Bubbles of bliss popped by strife
Too many distractions
No time for books

Look to the streets for action
Look to the streets for action

Microcosmic circular philosophies
Stilling minds like weed
Homeless peaceful gurus in the street
Preaching confusion
Perspectives you knew when
Life was idealistic
You didn't worry about death or money

Bet you never expected this...
Bet you never expected this

Politics
Enough of this smell of
Deteriorating DNA
Brainwashing leaders
Trampling free thinkers who
Love their moms
Listen to men with hairs that's gray
Live day by day
Couldn't care less about how much
They get paid

Creators and artists
Come to terms
With your personal reincarnation
Organize; learn to serve our small nation
Of futuristic, conscious communists
Find those compatriots

Soul mates we use to call friends
Soul mates we use to call friends

Flower Childs
Past angels now too tired to relate
With their children
All we see is soulless villains
Bad dreams sparked by
Met amphetamines
Recovering dope fiends
Chemistry degrees actualized in
Corporate pharmaceutical
Entrepreneurial schemes

More drugs we don't need
More drugs we don't need

Medicinal Hippocratic oaths
Broken every day
Unborn children and
Unwanted sectarians euthanized
Their bodies remain to decay

Souls lift for a new place to stay
Souls lift for a new place to stay

A dead child in the eyes of science
One less aggregate of
Organic compounds
String theoretical reductions
Within the confines
Of the precisions of our instruments
Nearly perfect
Sent to death like Jesus of Nazareth.

Mystical, self not external actualization
Climbing Maslow's pyramid
Deep-breathing yogic metabolic acidosis
Excessive oxygen similar to acid doses
We took before a kiss
Beyond any religious bliss
Better than feeling five nun's tits
Like eating fattening ice cream
Without regrets

Can you rap better than this
Can you rap better than this?

Old flatulents step aside
Find somewhere to hide
As the next generation
Of extended late-adolescent
College-educated technicians
Braids in hair
Hide their new genius exponential Implications of E=mc2

Eighty miles per hour
On my way to Vegas
Break the banks
Thank goodness for the
Eigenvector matrix
Meditations to put minds on the
Positive side of MIT
Probabilistic computations

Spiritual, non-logical phenomena
Like HMOs paying for the
Relaxation response
Lowered hypertension without drugs
A little more exercise and family hugs
Too many antibiotics
Prescribed, imbibed
Now we fight a new tribe of
Parasites
Spirochetes that bite in order to survive
Do God's work, keep the balance and
Take a few lives

Party scene, after the party
After all the variety
Big tits and Ferraris
Of rich dads buying Range Rovers
And bitches nice hats
In Texas maybe, but not in L.A.
Here it's all about "Shaddy's get'n paid Rap'n 'bout guns and broads

Non-classically educated composers
Get single Ph.D.s
Call themselves doctors but
They're just posers
Pay a few girls to stand for pictures
All hose with too much
Niquil, no-dose
Crack cocaine up their nose

Daddy's genetic gifts indecently exposed
Phenotypes of lesser Gods
Some need the money
Others just judge in boredom
They need more pause

Drive'n through Wilshire Boulevard
Praising at least five different gods
The tracks bumping in my car
Yet to be released
Soon all will know
Why
Patience is a virtue

It gets you though all
Those times you need to
As for a helping hand
Nice people
Carol King telling you
Friends will understand

Friends, they stab you in the back
Trade you in for a hit of crack
Anything to cough up this
Nagging, hackneyed crap
Caught in our collective lungs

It's called existence
Better for most not to know this
Indeed, ignorance is bliss
Before I learned there may be
No end to it
No more fairy tale endings
No more frogs turning into a
Prince.

Dr. Pepper's Rx1

The moon is bright tonight
You like astrology
Spend with me three minutes
Not dollars for soothing liquor

I have your cure

Mimicking the elderly
Walk with me and feign peace
Distinguish suffering from pain
And gain insight

The bright light projects
North South West and East
A crown of invisible destinations
Royalty leaves messages
Pyramids and empires

From necessity

Six degrees of separation
My corpus colossal river
Moves oxygen and water
World peace, one mind at a time

Genetic diversity I seek
Accept your greatness
Don't waist my time

Accept your greatness
Don't waist my time

Voices of left-handed voices
Think and grow rich
Think, Think! Think!! Think!!!
Grow, Grow! Grow!! Grow!!!
Rich damn it!!!

A rich bitch, I ignored her
Like an expensive car
Too much grooming at dog shows
Ruins my enjoyment of nature

Back to the lecture...

Conjectures of financial greed
Spiritual speedy seeds
Decaying from unuse

The misuse of language
And time
I love attention

Binding myself to the
Ephemeral flesh of friends
Bad credit, negativity, disloyalty

My blood boils to teach
Forever in an endless see of
Silent listeners

There is an intimacy in books
The transmission of spirits
Eternally preserved
To rest my mind from confusion

Logic, extrapolations of Behavioral modification
You look just like me
A sea of point-like singularities
Energies bouncing off intentionality

Prescriptions:

Be courteous, honest, determined, Disciplined, loving
Dance, learn, create, imagine, Dream, seek discomfort
Relax, breath, read this again
And call me in the morning

Barnes and Noble

Wow, I have the urge to become! a poet
Maybe just recollect
Those past fancies and moments of clarity

Wow, I am now in a state of free thought
The sun has set
Please enjoy while I clear my mind

It seems such a selfish thought
that the latent contents of my subconscious
could benefit any reader.
The bookstore is full of ideas
Science - my favorite section
Darwin, Genetics, website programming and
who's the richest man this year.

I'm a yogi - nothing has changed in human consciousness
-That's what I like to explore.
Here another urge share the contents.
to connect - but the sounds ring in space
and diminish. Sweet ephemeral materials and experiences
in this life entertaining.

I am researching the famous ones
People, archetypes around which to mold my future self-image
Karma!
Oh this urge to act.

Keats and Fitzgerald, Beethoven and Thelonius Monk
-The Jazz, Books, old thoughts
lost upon future generations.
They call this evolution:
Man's capacity to spend more time concerned
about society and friends
while entropy envelops our minds.

I know I've lost my reader - such is
the consequence of selfish journaling.
This is not poetry, it's a "stream of consciousness"
[laugh]

I will print my past works, place them
in a beautiful book to appease myself
and reconnect with a purpose.

Would you read my poetry?
Aloud
or silently

Giving Thanks

Giving thanks for community
creativity
Giving thanks for opportunity
the open mind
Giving thanks for the simple
for nature
Giving thanks for woman
and man
Giving thanks for yes
no and maybe.
